How was the sulphur smell? We won’t go to another hot springs because the last one etched sulphur smell in my nose for days.

Corey, you down play what you did. Most people would just stand back and shoot video on their phones. You stepped in to help and try to save people, property, and a dog. Do not down play what you tried to do to help the fire fighters and just to do what was right. I thank you for them !!!!

Still no update on the RV campground in Cartersville, Ga. Progress very slow but looks to be a nice out come. Will keep you updated. Know you will never stay there since you have family in Rome, GA just 25 miles away. But to let your RV family know.

Do not understand how you can do such a long trip from Maine to Alaska in one whack. I was 45 when for my job I had to drive non-stop from just above Atlanta to Washington D.C. straight only stopping for fuel. 11 hours, felt like I had been beaten with a ball bat. How do you do it ? I was in just a truck, you are pulling a camper. More stress. WOW !!!!

It isnt a fault line causing the earthquakes, it is the SuperVolcano caldera below your feet that is. One of only a few in the world. The walkways are there for your protection, so you dont walk through any of the sulfur pools or quick sand. Many people have died thinking the pools are "pretty clear water" or that the earth is solid everywhere. It isnt.

That was a special aurora borealis. It could be seen across the whole US

Not sure how you do it, you seem to always be in the right place at the right time, thankfully for the cute pup. Can't wait to see your 2nd Alaskan trip. We are currently looking for a Class C. Have had our travel trailer since 2018. Like your youngest, I have many fond memories that were made with our camper. Our boys are both in college and my husband being a fishing guide, my aunt and my husband's aunt are my camping buddies mostly now. I love my camper. Time to purchase something I can back up by myself without the boys behind me helping. So excited for you!! Happy Travels. Thanks again for all that you do and share along the way.

My husband and I met at Evangel. Got married and lived in a trailer behind the campus for a year. Love your videos. Springfield will always have a special place in our hearts. The Bass Pro is awesome there. You all also went through the Bobby Hopper Tunnel outside of Fayetteville. 😊 Oh and yes Andy’s is the bomb!

The thing about sunrises in Bryce is that you HAVE to take photos, because if you painted a picture people would call you a liar, the colors are so unbelievable! And Franz donuts? They're the best!

Lived in Idaho for about 40 years. There are a lot of hot springs that are totally natural, no development at all. They are the best. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

I just watched the first video of the Lineage. It's going to very cramped for the four of you going to Alaska. Where are the girls going to sleep? I also noticed no curtain/door blocking the view to the bedroom. So much for your privacy.

Memorial Day weekend we trekked back New England from Colorado (via 80) and had a storm chase us the whole way! We would get ahead of it and then we would stop for gas or overnight and we would catch up to it again. Luckily just heavy rain and some lightening. I kept watching the weather map (as you recommended looking at cities ahead). My favorite app is Windy for you can get wind forecasts as well as storm forecasts by area. Glad you all made it ok!

The officer wasn’t nice. It wasn’t your fault. That is 100% for traffic revenue and has nothing to do with road safety. They’ve especially enjoy your out of state plates since they know you won’t contest it.

Sad fact: many non-urban fire departments are 100% volunteer still. The problem? Community members aren't stepping up any more. Some departments in this country can't even guarantee they'll be able to field ONE truck when the tones go off. ENCOURAGE VOLUNTEERS

Awesome video, Good Job on saving the pup.. The Aurora lights were able to be seen here in NC, I didn't get to see them but alot of my friends were able to get pics and videos..

Idaho hot springs are the best. I hiked and relaxed in one North of Missoula in the winter using crampons. Thanks for sharing

Wow! That was a pretty emotional video. Used to live in Florida for a few winters, remember seeing the hurricanes coming in or worrying about a tornado. That is my biggest fear of being on the road is the weather turning suddenly. Watching those fires and thinking about how devastating that would be for the people who have owned and enjoyed those places, possibly for generation....the memories live on. And the only time I have seen Northern Lights was in Maine when I was a child. Must have been winter because we were driving back from my grandparen after dark, and we never stayed that late, I was laying up on the shelf in the back of our old car, that was my favorite spot to ride at night. I remember yelling "Stop, dad stop!" and my mom looking outside and saying pull the car over and we just sat there and watched them. The weather patterns sure have changed since then, living in Northern Vermont right now and the weather has been so bad, the flooding last year, and the hurricanes that have made their way all the way up here. Oh, and I loved Lily's comment at the end! Sometimes it is better inside, like during the 3 days of 90+ temps we just experienced!

we stay at the military famcamp every year and it has gotten sooooo bad with all the construction/traffic/construction/traffic even in the off season waiting 3 light changes to get through the intersection..... the military beach is always empty and pristine, but we are now taking a break from there as there are just toooo many other beach locales without the congestion,, happy travels 🤠

Come out of the house, west side of COS, every morning to walk the dog. First thing I do is glance at my weather forecaster AKA PP. Never get tired of seeing it (when we can see it)! Nice country drive: from COS HW24 west to Buena Vista, south to Salida, east on hwy 50 to Canyon City, on to Penrose, then north again on 115 to COS! A nice 5-6 hour ride in the country! PS: there is a Dairy Queen in Canyon City that simply begs you to stop for an ice cream! And, at one point in time 8 or 9 prisons!

Highway 70! Must remember the interstate system is federally funded!

On the subject of weather and other emergencies while in the road, knowing where you are when you settle in for the night may even save a life in the event of an emergency. Some suggest a whiteboard in your RV. We have chosen to use technology in the form of a note on our phones, shared between members of the camping party, and shared with a friend or family at home. The name of the CG, site #, and importantly the COUNTY should be included. You might also include items you intend to check out while there...The info can potentially be filled in by the copilot while the driver is checking in. Corey, love the attention to maintaining your truck and trailer! I actually carry a pump sprayer with Chemical Guys Eco-Smart Watherless wash and a supply of microfiber towels. Either the end of a travel day or the next morning with my first cup of coffee, the bugs get removed from the front of the truck, mirror caps, and front of trailer if possible. Get them before the sun bakes them on!
